Privacy Notice on the Processing of Personal Data
This privacy notice has been prepared by Caferilik İnancını Tanıtma, Araştırma Ve Eğitim Derneği (the "Association"), acting as data controller, in order to inform data subjects by making disclosures on the processing of users' personal data in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.
1. Purposes of processing our personal data
Personal data collected by Caferilik İnancını Tanıtma, Araştırma Ve Eğitim Derneği is processed for the purpose of ensuring the control of customer satisfaction.
2. Persons/organisations to whom personal data may be transferred for the above purposes
Personal data collected by Caferilik İnancını Tanıtma, Araştırma Ve Eğitim Derneği will be transferred to legally authorised public institutions and organisations if requested.
Personal data collected by Caferilik İnancını Tanıtma, Araştırma Ve Eğitim Derneği is not transferred abroad.
3. Methods of collecting your data and the legal grounds
Your personal data is collected by Caferilik İnancını Tanıtma, Araştırma Ve Eğitim Derneği through information systems/digital media in light of the purposes stated, and is processed on the legal grounds required for the establishment and performance of a contract pursuant to Article 5, paragraph 2 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data.
4. Your rights under Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data
As a data subject, by applying to Caferilik İnancını Tanıtma, Araştırma Ve Eğitim Derneği, you have the right to:
- a) Learn whether your personal data has been processed,
- b) Request information if it has been processed,
- c) Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- d) Know the third parties to whom it is transferred, domestically or abroad,
- e) Request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
- f) Request the processing or destruction of personal data processed within the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
- g) Request that the operations listed above be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- h) Object to a result that is to your detriment arising exclusively from the analysis of data through automated systems,
- i) Request compensation for damages in the event you suffer a loss due to unlawful processing.
Requests submitted under an application will be concluded as soon as possible, and in any case within 30 days, depending on the nature of the request.

Personal data collected through this application form:
- Identity and contact details: full name, e-mail address, phone number.
- Submission content: the uploaded screenplay file (including its file name, size, and type).
- Technical and consent records: application number, the date/time the application was received, the IP address at the time of submission (recorded as evidence that consent was given), the version of the Privacy Notice / KVKK Consent Form / Consent Form / Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy accepted and when each was accepted, the language the application was submitted in.
- Evaluation status: the status of your application in the evaluation process (received / under review / not selected / finalist). This field is not entered by the applicant — it is updated by the competition organisation during evaluation — but it is nonetheless personal data processed about you, and the most consequential field in your application record.
Data NOT collected: national ID number (T.C. kimlik numarası).
